Training Educators in The Art of Officiating Table Tennis

The South African Christian Schools Sport Association kicked off 2007 with a gathering of sport enthusiasts at the East Rand Christian Academy on the 27th January 2007.

The day was filled with sporting enthusiasts eager to learn more about Table Tennis, Swimming, Volleyball and Athletics.

The Table Tennis League Umpires class was filled with 24 enthusiasts from across Gauteng, Mpumalanga and the Free State. Throughout the day, questions were asked, positional play was demonstrated, and the intricacies of Umpiring a Table Tennis match explained and visually indicated. In the end, 19 participants achieved a pass towards their League Umpires Certificate.

And that is just the beginning of a hectic year of Table Tennis activities.
