Affiliate’s Fun Tournament A Cut Above The Rest

The Fun Tournament that was hosted by Blue Fountains Table Tennis Club on the 3rd October at the Boskruin Centre, brought together a crew of motley proportions. And the costumes on display, nothing short of dazzling.

This year, the theme was Pirates, Knights and Gladiators, with the weapon of choice being  plastic replica of a Roman sword. A tool that demanded extreme dexterity in trying to propel and control a celluloid white ball to-and-fro across a table tennis table.

The ensuing chaos and mirth was indicative of the fun being had by all participants.

It must be said that as an end of League season stress reliever, the tournament served its purpose.
