Gauteng Central Winners at the S.A's 2014

Gauteng Central Winners at the S.A's 2014, held in Bloemfontein July 6th to July 12th at the Tempe Sports Grounds.

GC Players still managed to take some spots in the top 3 positions even though the freezing temperatures went to -8°.

Our first time S.A's Juniors Simphiwe Leeuw and Zain Qadeer boy’s u12 showed some of their excellent skills on the table not making it easy at all for their opposition. Every game they played was exciting.

Girls u17 Doubles Danica Schlome and Angy Smith making one mean team and beating some top players which took them through to finals and giving Savannah April and Jade Sassman a good game and making every point tough for them to get.

Boys U17 Team showed outstanding performance on the table throughout the Tournament making every game nail biting.

Lailaa Edwards and Karishma Lakhoo Girls U14 Doubles win Bronze 3rd place but not making it easy at all for UmG in the Semi Finals.

Mens B Team all displaying their excellent skills and winning their way to Finals meeting up with WP Team Shane Overmeyer Keagan Lingeveld......really a strong bunch but GC gave it their best shot. Well Done for making it to finals.

Last but not least Danisha Patel Winning and making her way past top player Caitlyn Lingevelt in the Semi's and taking on another Top Player Jade Sassman in the finals.
Danisha played her matches with ease, beating Jade 3-1  and making Gauteng Central Proud. No one deserves it more than Danisha. A true dedicated humble player. May this be your 1st to many more. Our True Champion Danisha Patel.
